Searching
The CDI database can be searched in several different ways.
The diseases/determinants tree sorts indicators by chronic disease or determinant. A mouse-click on the disease or determinant displays all indicators in this category, while clicking on the + or - symbols displays the sub-categories.
The keyword option allows searching in any field of the database, such as data source (e.g. NHS) or indicator source (e.g. NHPA).
The data type option searches for indicators by the type of data (e.g. mortality, hospitalisations).
The indicator source option searches for indicators by the source of the indicator (e.g. NHPA).
The indicator ID option allows searching for a specific indicator by ID (to use this, you must mouse-click on the 'go' button after entering the ID number - it will not work simply using 'enter').
