The AIHW has played a leading role in the development, monitoring and reporting of indicators on child and youth health and wellbeing for more than a decade. The AIHW has produced four comprehensive national reports on children and three on young people, the latest reports being A picture of Australia's children 2009 and Young Australian's: their health and wellbeing 2007.
