DEMAND FOR ACCOMMODATION COLLECTION

Restrictions or conditions may apply to the release of some of the data in this data holding - see "Data Availability" below.
Click here for general information about data availability.

The demand for SAAP accommodation collection operates over a one week period twice a year, usually in November and May. It measures the level of daily demand for SAAP accommodation, including information about the number of people who request accommodation at SAAP agencies but who are turned away.

The demand for accommodation collection (previously unmet demand) has undergone several changes in methodology since its inception with the aim of improving estimates of unmet demand. There is therefore currently no time series data on unmet demand for accommodation.
