The accompanying children collection is a special collection in the SAAP National Data Collection. The collection provides information on children who attended SAAP agencies with people who were homeless or at risk of being homeless.

Data collected include basic sociodemographic information, the services required by and provided to each child and the facilities available for children at SAAP agencies. Accompanying children have been included in the SAAP client collection on an ongoing basis since 2000-01 but were not reported on until 2001-02.
