This publication presents experimental life tables for male and female Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians for the reference period 2005-2007, for New South Wales, Queensland, Western Australia, the Northern Territory and Australia.

Indigenous and non-Indigenous life tables are based on Estimated Resident Population (3101.0) (based on the Census of Population and Housing and the Census Post Enumeration Survey), death registration information provided by state and territory Registrars of Births, Deaths and Marriages, and the ABS Census Data Enhancement (CDE) Indigenous Mortality Quality Study.
