Note: In the NT, a single registration board is responsible for both medical practitioners and nurses/midwives.
From 1 July 2010, the registration functions of the various state/territory boards will become the responsibility of the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency, as per the March 2008 Intergovernmental Agreement on the health workforce.
