Conditions of engagement
Conditions of engagement in the Institute may include the following matters. These may be varied depending on the length of the engagement, and the exact conditions will be notified to prospective employees at the time of a formal offer of engagement.
- Australian citizenship
- Satisfactory completion of a probationary period
- Character clearance (usually from the Australian Federal Police)
- Health clearance (might not be required for short engagements)
- Evidence of academic or other qualifications, where claims of such qualifications are relevant to selection for an offer of employment
