Professor Annette Dobson

Australia's health: vital signs vital statisticsAnnette Dobson is Professor of Biostatistics in the School of Population Health at the University of Queensland. From 1983 to 1994 she led one of the two Australian collaborating centres of the World Health Organisation's MONICA Project (to MONItor trends and determinants of CArdiovascular disease) and she is currently the rapporteur for the MONICA Steering Committee. She is also the Director of the Australian Longitudinal Study on Women's Health.

She has been a member of the Advisory Committee for the National CVD Monitoring Unit at AIHW since its inception.
