Professor Gavin Andrews MD

Gavin Andrews is a Scientia Professor of Psychiatry at University of New South Wales. He was instrumental in the design and implementation of Australia's only national mental health survey. Supported by NHMRC grants his team have been able to calculate the cost effectiveness of treatments for ten mental and three physical disorders.

A model for priority setting that utilises efficiency data will be presented.
