Australian hospital statistics advisory committee
The Australian hospital statistics advisory committee advises the AIHW on the compilation of its annual Australian hospital statistics reports. It is chaired by the AIHW and includes representatives of each of the state/territory health authorities, the Commonwealth Department of Health and Ageing, the Australian Bureau of Statistics, the Private Health Insurance Administration Council, the Australian Healthcare Association, the Australian Private Hospitals Association, the Australian Government Department of Veterans' Affairs, Adaptive Care Systems and the National Centre for Classification in Health.
