The NMDS Subcommittee was established by the Mental Health Information Strategy Subcommittee (MHISS) to oversee the development and implementation of the National Minimum Data Sets for Mental Health Care. The Subcommittee's tasks include:
- Coordinating and monitoring the development and implementation of the National Minimum Data Sets for Mental Health Care.
- Making recommendations to the MHISS on a regular basis regarding progress in the development and implementation of the National Minimum Data Sets for Mental Health Care work program.
- Providing a forum for detailed consultation with jurisdiction representatives to inform the development of the National Minimum Data Sets for Mental Health Care.
