Primary Health and Respiratory and Musculoskeletal Monitoring

The Primary Health and Respiratory and Musculoskeletal Monitoring Unit encompasses the National Centre for Monitoring Arthritis and Musculoskeletal Conditions as well as monitoring primary health care delivery and asthma and linked chronic respiratory conditions nationally. For the monitoring of asthma and linked chronic respiratory conditions the Unit collaborates with the Australian Centre for Asthma Monitoring at the Woolcock Institute for Medical Research. The Unit also collaborates with the Australian General Practice Statistics and Classifications Centre at the University of Sydney in running the Bettering the Evaluation and Care of Health (BEACH) survey of general practice.
