The Institute Director is responsible for AIHW activities, and is supported by nine Group Heads, each with a major functional responsibility within the Institute. These Groups comprise: Business Group, Continuing and Specialised Care Group, Governance and Communications Group, Health Group, Hospitals and Performance Group, Housing and Homelessness Group, ICT and Business Transformation Program, Information and Statistics Group and the Social and Indigenous Group.
