Disease priorities

Diseases priorities focus on those areas that contribute most to the burden of illness and injury in the community, particularly if the burden can be significantly reduced. It provides a framework for health interventions in the areas shown below;
- Arthritis and musculoskeletal conditions;
- Asthma;
- Cancer;
- Cardiovascular health;
- Diabetes;
- Injury prevention and control;
- Mental health;
- Chronic diseases; and
- Communicable diseases.
