This report summarises the results of treatment of infertility by assisted conception in all units in Australia and New Zealand. They include data on in-vitro fertilisation (IVF) and gamete intrafallopian transfer (GIFT), and newer techniques of microinsemination, but exclude other treatment of infertility by artificial insemination or by ovulation induction without IVF or GIFT.
