Adoptions Australia 1998-99
Presents adoption statistics provided by the State and Territory community services departments for the period 1 July 1998 to 30 June 1999. These cover all finalised adoptions reported to State and Territory community services departments during that year. The report provides information on adopted children, adoptive families and birth mothers. It also provides data on the number of requests for information and the number of contact and information vetoes lodged by parties to the adoption.
