released: 8 Nov 2000 media release

Presents data on services directly provided or funded by governments under the Commonwealth/State Disability Agreement (CSDA). The report describes the collection process, consumers, their characteristics and the services they received, and the service outlets used. For the first time, estimates of consumers are presented, made possible by the use of a statistical linkage key to adjust for people receiving more than one service on the one day. Information on the methods used to produce this data is also included.
