The health and welfare of Australia's Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples 2001
This report is jointly published by the Australian Bureau of Statistics and the AIHW every two years. The 2001 edition provides information on issues that impact upon the health and welfare of Australia's Indigenous peoples. Data from the five-yearly national Census of Population and Housing, national surveys and those collected by health and welfare service providers, as part of their routine administrative practices, are used in the report.
