The National Coroners Information System as an information tool for injury surveillance

This report assesses the strengths and weaknesses of the National Coroners Information System (NCIS), particularly in terms of its coverage and data integrity and in supporting injury prevention initiatives, primarily by comparing it to the ABS Deaths Data Collection.
