Home purchase assistance 2007-08
In 2007-08, states and territories provided various forms of home purchase assistance including direct lending, deposit assistance, interest rate assistance, home purchase advisory and counselling services and mortgage relief to about 32,000 households. Under the 2003 Commonwealth State Housing Agreement (CSHA), the home purchase assistance national data report presents summary information and performance indicators in order to meet the requirements of the CSHA national performance reporting framework.
