Biliary lithotripsy assessment program, final interim report
This report highlights the deficiencies in current information systems and clarifies the issues where national consensus on counting rules would be necessary. The paper also provides estimates of the numbers and types of patients waiting for admission to public acute hospitals for elective surgery in the later part of 1993. In addition, it provides limited information about numbers and waiting times of patients who were admitted for elective surgery during a recent period of time.
