Australian Facts 2001 presents the latest facts and figures on cardiovascular disease and its impact on the Australian Community. It is the second report in a biennial series by the National Centre for Monitoring Cardiovascular Disease. It is a comprehensive source of information covering patterns of cardiovascular health and illness among Australians, their associated risk factors, treatment and management of cardiovascular disease, and health care costs.
