AIHW Health Ethics Committee
The AIHW Health Ethics Committee's principal responsibility is to form an opinion as to the
acceptability or otherwise, on ethical grounds, of proposed health-related
activities of the Institute. As part of the project's approval, the
Committee monitors the project until its completion. Submissions are
called for before each meeting. Outside researchers should have a contact
officer within the Institute who can act as a liaison between the researcher and
the Ethics Committee.
