The AIHW (formerly referred to as the SAAP-NDCA) developed the SAAP Management and Reporting Tool (SMART) to help SAAP-funded agencies meet their information needs and reporting requirements.
SMART Version 5.3 software and documentation
SMART Version 5.3 is ready for download and installation.
There are TWO versions of the SMART 5.3 installation package:
- CLEAN INSTALL. If you are installing SMART version 5.3 on a computer or network that has not previously been used to run 'SMART' software you should ring the NDCA hotline 1800 627 191 to gain access to the correct installation package.
- UPGRADE from SMART 5.1.3 or SMART 5.2. If you are upgrading SMART from either SMART 5.1.3 or SMART 5.2 use the link below to download the appropriate installation instructions and SMART software. Please see the instructions below which relate to different agencies and requirements Australia-wide.
Are you a SAAP agency running a version of SMART which is earlier than Version 5.1.3?
Please contact the AIHW homelessness hotline on 1800 627 191, or email . If you are running an earlier version of SMART, the upgrade WILL NOT WORK for you. We need to assist you in upgrading to SMART 5.1.3 BEFORE you upgrade to Version 5.3.
Are you a Victorian SAAP agency that is upgrading from SMART 5.1.3 or SMART 5.2?
