Since 1 July 2011, homelessness data for the new Specialist Homelessness Services (SHS) collection has been submitted through a secure Australian Institute of Health and Welfare (AIHW) website called Specialist Homelessness Online Reporting (SHOR). This website accepts and processes all homelessness data from agencies that collect data using one of a variety of methods, including the Specialist Homelessness Information Platform (SHIP), other agency client management systems and paper forms. SHOR performs a number of validation checks on submitted data, which will help improve the quality of reporting for the new collection.
