Supporting Australia’s ongoing pandemic response through our responsive data assets
During the pandemic, we supported hospital capacity and operational activity data sharing between states, territories and the Australian Government, providing a near real-time source of information on our hospital system.
-
Strengthening the family and domestic violence evidence base
With support from the Department of Social Services, we used the NIHSI AA to examine hospital use and deaths for people hospitalised for family and domestic violence from 2010-11 to 2018-19.
-
Improving access to local data for Indigenous communities
The Regional Insights for Indigenous Communities website was developed to provide data about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and their health and wellbeing, in one place.
-
