The following case studies demonstrate the AIHW’s contribution to the different ways in which information and statistics produced by the institute are used to inform and support better policy and service delivery decisions, leading to better health and wellbeing for all Australians.

Each case study is developed in collaboration with one or more of our partner agencies and other peak bodies.

These case studies demonstrate that outcomes and impact can take many years, and the combined work of many people and organisations, to generate. Through documenting these research journeys in this way we are showing that the creation of knowledge is vital, but also that there are many other sources of information available to generate impact.

If you have any comments or suggestions, would like to be kept informed when new case studies are published, or would like to discuss partnering with AIHW to document your organisation’s work as an AIHW impact case study, then please let us know.
