9 June 2026:
Updates to the Diphtheria factsheet and Vaccine-preventable data tables to show the historial trend and latest AIHW data available on diphtheria.
9 October 2025:
Minor edits have been made throughout the report and associated Fact sheets to improve clarity and correct typographical errors. These include spacing and grammar corrections and terminology updates (for example replacing “Indigenous” with “First Nations”).
In Table 2 on the Summary page, the number for respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) hospitalisations in 2022 has been revised from 8,274 to 27,953.
