This Data Strategy presents a practical approach to strengthening sexual and reproductive health data in Australia. It identifies priority data gaps and actions to improve monitoring across 5 initial topics: menstrual disorders, symptoms and related conditions; contraception; pregnancy loss before 20 weeks’ gestation; termination of pregnancy; and perimenopause and menopause. The strategy supports better evidence for policy, service planning and health system improvement. It is a companion report to Bringing focus: a monitoring framework for sexual and reproductive health in Australia.
