Acknowledgements

The Australian Institute of Health and Welfare (AIHW) thanks and acknowledges the large contribution by staff from a range of organisations in providing datasets and advice in the production of this report. These organisations are:

The AIHW acknowledge all of those serving and ex-serving ADF members who have died by suicide. We also acknowledge all of those who have been affected by suicide, including their families.

Ethical approval for the study was provided by the AIHW Ethics Committee and the Departments of Defence and Veterans’ Affairs Human Research Ethics Committee.
