Who received an 'Assessment only' treatment?

  • Most clients were men and people in their 20s and 30s.

Between 2018–19 and 2023–24, 157,108 clients received an ‘Assessment only’ treatment.

At the national level, demographic characteristics were similar regardless of whether clients received further treatment or not. Most were male (65%) and about half of clients were in their 20s or 30s (54%).

Younger and older clients were less likely than any other age groups to receive further treatment after an ‘Assessment only’ (tables AO2–6; Figure 2).
