Health system spending on disease and injury in Australia 2020–21 analyses Australia’s national health spending to provide additional detail about the people receiving care and the conditions and diseases being treated.

In this report, 2020–21 data is presented using Australian Burden of Disease Study (ABDS) conditions including COVID–19, with spending reported by health care sector, type of condition, age group, sex and state. Information is presented on the web pages using interactive visualisations. Downloadable Microsoft Excel workbooks are available for 2020–21 and for 2011–12 to 2019–20 inclusive for historical comparisons.
