This report presents information on oral health outreach services provided to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and young people aged under 16 in the Northern Territory. It shows that in 2021, 5,118 children received 6,422 full-mouth fluoride varnish services; 1,319 children received fissure sealant applications to 5,261 teeth; 2,447 children had 3,026 clinical service visits (excluding urban services). There were some improvements over time in the proportion of Indigenous children in the NTRAI OHP with tooth decay.

Findings from this report:

In 2021, 56% of children in the NTRAI OHP who had a clinical service visit were aged 6–11 and 26% were aged 0–5
