This report provides information on the health service use patterns of ex-serving Australian Defence Force (ADF) members in the year before and after a hospitalisation for intentional self-harm. It also compares their health service use with ex-serving ADF members who were admitted for non-injury reasons. The report is part of a series of research on health service use by ex-serving ADF members to 30 June 2020.
