Labour complications
Labour complications (Figure 21) includes information on the data elements: antepartum haemorrhage, blood transfusion for primary postpartum haemorrhage, complication of the puerperium: major puerperal infection, complication of the puerperium: PPH (600+ mls), complication of the puerperium: retained placenta, labour complication: cord prolapse, labour complication: fetal distress, primary postpartum haemorrhage, primary postpartum haemorrhage blood loss and threatened abortion.
