LGBTQIA+SB people

LGBTQIA+SB communities have been identified as priority populations under the National Mental Health and Suicide Prevention Agreement and for data development as part of the National Suicide and Self-harm Monitoring System. LGBTQIA+SB stands for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, queer, asexual, plus (represents all other gender identities and sexual orientations), Sisterboy and Brothergirl. Under the agreement, governments have a responsibility to support priority populations, who may be at higher risk of mental ill health and suicide due to vulnerability caused by social, economic, and environmental circumstances.
