Current until 1 March 2000. This literature review examines methods for obtaining consumer feedback from the users of home based care services. Its aim is to provide an informed discussion of the advantages and disadvantages of various methodological approaches and to canvas issues that arise in the collection of these data. The review was undertaken to inform the development of a method or methods to be used in the collection of consumer feedback from clients of Home and Community Care (HACC) services, as part of the HACC Services Standards quality appraisal process.
