This Australian Institute of Health and Welfare Annual report 2015–16 reviews AIHW activities and reports on our performance in the 2015–16 financial year. It enables Australians to assess the efficiency, effectiveness and economy with which we provide quality, nationally-consistent health and welfare information. Our activities are guided by legislative and government requirements, in particular, the requirements of the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013.
