23 November 2022 – On page 42, the following text in the report has been changed from:

‘Outside of professions registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency, the health services industry workforce also includes around 13,200 ambulance officers and paramedics; 21,000 medical technicians; 21,000 dental assistants; and 26,100 nursing support and personal care workers.’

To:

‘According to the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) 2016 Census of Population and Housing, outside of professions registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency, the health services industry workforce also includes around 13,200 ambulance officers and paramedics (note that paramedicine practitioners were then listed as a new registered health profession in 2019 data); 21,000 medical technicians; 21,000 dental assistants; and 26,100 nursing support and personal care workers.’

7 July 2022 – On page 22, the following finding has been removed from the report:

‘The rate of severe disease (ICU admission and/or death) was 7 times higher for Indigenous Australian’s compared with the Australian population overall.’
