Goal 5: Reduce the impact of diabetes among Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples

Goal 5 of the Strategy focusses on reducing the impact of diabetes among Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. A number of indicators were identified in the Implementation Plan to measure the progress of Goal 5, some of which were included in Goals 1-4, where indicators have been disaggregated by Indigenous status.

This section for Goal 5, reports on twenty-one indicators specific to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people with diabetes complications:
