The data in the graph and the table below show the proportion of NDIS participants (aged 15–64) who get the support they need to do their job. Data from 2018–19 Q2 to 2022–23 Q4 are used. In 2022–23 Q4, 63% of NDIS participants reported they get the support they need to do their job, compared with 78% in 2018–19 Q2.

The data in the graph and the table below show the proportion of NDIS participants (aged 15–64) who get the support they need to do their job, grouped by Australian states and territories. In 2022–23 Q4, 68% of NDIS participants in South Australia reported they get the support they need to do their job, compared with 58% in both Queensland and the Australian Capital Territory.

In 2022–23 Q4, 58% of Indigenous NDIS participants reported they get the support they need to do their job, compared with 62% of non-Indigenous participants.

In 2022–23 Q4, 57% of participants from CALD backgrounds reported they get the support they need to do their job, compared with 63% among the non-CALD group.

The data in the graph and the table below show the proportion of NDIS participants (aged 15–64) who get the support they need to do their job, grouped by remoteness. In 2022–23 Q4, in both regional areas with populations between 15,000 and 50,000 and regional areas with populations between 5,000 and 15,000, 66% of NDIS participants reported they get the support they need to do their job, compared with 56% in remote and very remote areas.

The data in the graph and the table below show the proportion of NDIS participants (aged 15–64) who get the support they need to do their job, by disability group. In 2022–23 Q4, 87% of NDIS participants with Down syndrome reported they get the support they need to do their job, compared with 46% of participants with stroke (please note that some categories were not published due to small numbers and to protect confidentiality).
