Overall, 210 organisations reported in 2018–19, 196 in 2019–20, 191 in 2020–21, 221 in 2021–22, 213 in 2022–23, 213 in 2023–24 and 215 in 2024–25.
Notes
- ‘Total’ includes all organisations who reported in each collection period.
- For organisation size, ‘Total submitted’ includes only organisations that provided valid client numbers in each collection period.
- Breaks are included to separate out the periods most affected by voluntary reporting and the peak of COVID-19 and associated emergency response measures. For more information see Comparisons over time.
- For more information, including on interpreting changes over time, see Technical notes.
In 2024–25, of organisations:
- 71% (or 152) were ACCHOs and 29% (63) were organisations other than ACCHOs (non-ACCHOs)
- 35% (or 75) were in Very remote areas, 20% (44) in Outer regional areas, 20% (42) in Inner regional areas, 13% (27) in Remote areas and 13% (27) in Major cities.
The decrease in organisations in the 2019–20 and 2020–21 collection periods was largely a result of reporting being made voluntary in those periods in acknowledgement of the additional pressures on organisations because of COVID-19. For more information, see Comparisons over time.
