Number of people with disability in Workforce Australia Services who achieved a 26-week employment outcome in a 12-month period.

Denominator

Number of people with disability commenced in Workforce Australia Services in a 12-month period.

Computation description

Number of people with disability in the labour force who use Workforce Australia Services and are placed into a job vacancy in a 12-month period that is sustained for at least 26 weeks, divided by the number of people with disability in the labour force who use Workforce Australia Services in a 12-month period.

Expressed as a percentage.

Notes

1. The Strategy would like to see the following tracked – proportion of people with disability in the labour force who use Workforce Australia Services and successfully find employment within 12 months. Available data do not currently allow this.

2. Data should be interpreted as the proportion of participants who participated in Workforce Australia Services from 1 July 2024 to 30 June 2025, who achieved at least one job placement within that year that later converted to a 26-week outcome. 

3. The participant's characteristic measure date is as at their period of assistance exit date if they have exited Workforce Australia Services, or as at 8 October 2025 for participants on the caseload at that date.
