The Chronic conditions dashboard presents key statistics for a selection of chronic conditions in a single product, with links to detailed reports on each condition.
The first version of the dashboard includes prevalence and incidence statistics over time, (crude rates, age-standardised rates and counts), as well as breakdowns by age, sex, and select population groups such as remoteness areas and socioeconomic areas.
Future versions of the dashboard will expand the range of conditions, measures and population groups covered.
Note that survey estimates, such as those from the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) National Health Survey (NHS), are subject to sampling error, and differences may be due to chance. Confidence intervals will be included in a future update, where available.
All statistics in this dashboard have been sourced from AIHW or ABS publications.
