The National Dementia Action Plan 2024–2034 (the Action Plan) is Australia’s national dementia policy framework. It sets out a plan for continuing to improve the lives and care of people living with dementia in Australia over the next 10 years.
This web report presents on indicators, which will be tracked over the life of the Action Plan to ensure it is meeting its objectives. This release updates baseline data, where possible, to align with the start of the Action Plan. Future annual updates will assess if indicators are improving, remaining the same, or getting worse.
