Measure 6.2 Increased access for First Nations carers to support services embedded in ACCHOs and ACCOs
Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations (ACCHOs) and Aboriginal Community-Controlled Organisations (ACCOs) are initiated and operated by the local Aboriginal community to deliver culturally appropriate health and other care to the community. Respite and other support services need to be more culturally appropriate, catered to and led by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander (First Nations) communities (Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety 2021).
There are no data currently available to track this measure of progress and data development is needed.
