Measure 2.4: Increased number of dementia-friendly communities
Dementia-Friendly Communities is a program delivered by Dementia Australia that supports communities and individual community members to develop their capacity to build understanding, awareness and acceptance of dementia within their community. It is important to measure the number of dementia-friendly communities to understand how many people with dementia and their families and carers have the opportunity to participate in inclusive spaces.
Data are available from Dementia Australia to track this measure.
